As a home economics teacher at Ingridskolan, you will be responsible for small classes. You will lead them in their schoolwork with the help of teaching assistants working in the different classes. You need to be flexible and able to tailor the teaching to the students' various needs.

We are looking for a colleague who has a strong interest in special education and experience/training within the school's student group (NPF / autism / ADHD / dyslexia / language disorders, etc.).

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Important qualities are that you are confident in the teaching role and are prepared to take responsibility for the student's development towards the goals from a holistic perspective. Information about the school

Ingridskolan is a small primary and secondary school primarily adapted for students with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) but is open to all. The school is located in Bergshamra, Solna.

The school operates based on the TEACCH pedagogy where each group/class has a teacher and one to two teaching assistants.

Ingridskolan is a workplace with good opportunities for pedagogical challenges and development aimed at creating good learning and recreational environments for children and youth with ASD. To facilitate this, staff receive continuous supervision and training in ASD.

About the employment conditions

25% position scheduled for one day a week from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
